This method is generally not very painful. Very few patients have a transient drop in blood pressure, a few have dizziness, lower back pain, and watery leucorrhea after treatment.

The following points should be noted when performing cryotherapy: (1) It is best to perform the procedure within 3-7 days after menstruation to reduce the chance of bleeding and infection. (2) A cervical scraping should be performed before treatment to confirm that there is no cervical cancer or suspected malignant changes before treatment can be performed. (3) Pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva before treatment. For those with acute or chronic vulvar or vaginitis, they should be thoroughly treated before undergoing cervical cryotherapy. Cervical erosion itself can cause bleeding secretions. Now there are still bloodshot after drug treatment. This is considered a normal phenomenon and can be treated with medication.
