What to do if you feel nauseous and want to vomit during early pregnancy

Many women will experience some discomfort symptoms when they are just pregnant. Of course, these discomfort symptoms may be caused by some physiological reactions of the body at the beginning stage of being afraid of strangers. Therefore, pregnant women must always pay attention to their physical condition to avoid some missed symptoms and cause serious illness. So what should you do if you always feel nauseous and want to vomit in the early stage of pregnancy?

In the early stages of pregnancy, due to drastic changes in the endocrine system of pregnant women, if they do not pay attention to their diet and often eat harmful foods, they will develop symptoms of nausea and vomiting. If you encounter a similar situation, you can go to the hospital for a check-up, or adjust your diet to return to a healthy life as soon as possible.

1. Nausea and vomiting in pregnant women may be caused by excessive stimulation of the gastrointestinal smooth muscles by the increased estrogen in the body. Mild nausea and vomiting do not require treatment. It is generally a reaction to morning sickness and does not require special treatment, let alone fasting or eating less. On the contrary, if you eat more food, such as taking sugar, eat small meals frequently, sit down or lie down to relax. If there is no improvement, you can go to the hospital for a check-up to understand the specific situation, and then receive treatment according to reasonable methods.

2. Vomiting in early pregnancy may be a very normal physiological phenomenon. Don’t worry too much. It has little impact on your health and does not require treatment. You need to maintain a healthy mood, avoid having too many mood swings, and get enough rest. For most people, the symptoms disappear on their own after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

3. Liquids and solid foods must be kept separate, otherwise the chance of nausea may increase. You can go outdoors after a meal, which will help promote gastrointestinal motility and digestion and absorption, reduce the burden on the stomach and intestines, and thus avoid nausea and vomiting. Before getting up in the morning, you can eat some dry bread or biscuits, eat first and then drink water. You cannot often eat fried food or stimulating drinks such as coffee, and try to avoid high sugar.
