What to do if you feel itchy after your period

Menstruation is a process that every adolescent or mature woman must go through. It more accurately reflects a woman's physical condition and hormone secretion. If it is normal menstruation, it does not actually have much impact on the body. However, if you feel something abnormal during menstruation, you should pay attention and find a suitable solution based on your specific situation. If the situation is serious, you should go to the hospital for examination.

I believe that many girls always experience unbearable itching or even redness and swelling down there when their menstrual period is about to end. There will also be some peculiar smell. You may feel embarrassed or don’t have time to go to the hospital, but you are tortured and have to worry about whether others will smell the odor. So how to solve this problem?

1. Change sanitary napkins frequently. Heavy bleeding during menstruation will destroy the acidic environment of the vagina, making it easy for various bacteria to invade, leading to vulvar itching or inflammation. We should choose sanitary napkins of good quality and more breathable, and change them frequently. If a certain brand of sanitary napkin causes a minor allergy after use, change the brand immediately. After your period is over, it is best to store the remaining sanitary napkins separately.

2. Wash your underwear correctly. It is best to wash your underwear as soon as you take it off. Wash it separately. After washing, use boiling water to disinfect it, and then expose it to the sun.

3. Use a separate basin and small towel to wash your baby's butt. Towels and basins used during menstruation should be scalded with boiling water to disinfect, and then exposed to the sun to avoid bacterial growth. Do not share them with family members. During menstruation, take a shower and avoid sitting in a bath.

4. Keep the vulva clean and dry. Do not scratch it. Wash it with hot water and use soap. Please wash with light salt water. The underwear should be breathable and loose. Avoid alcohol, spicy or allergic food, and eat a light diet during this period.

Note: Women need to be constantly cared for. A good woman will first know how to take care of herself.

The above are treatment methods for some mild to moderate itching and odor. If it is serious, you still need to go to the hospital for a simple routine leucorrhea examination and targeted treatment.
