In fact, the body of a pregnant woman will not return to its previous state quickly after giving birth to a baby, and sometimes there will be some other changes. Postpartum edema is a common phenomenon. There are many causes of postpartum edema, and you should adjust it according to your symptoms.

Reason 1: Physiological

Physiological edema is mainly caused by the enlargement of the uterus, which affects blood circulation. In addition, due to the influence of progesterone, the body's water metabolism becomes worse, and edema will occur.

Pathological edema is caused by disease. For example, pregnancy-induced hypertension, kidney disease, heart disease or other liver diseases.
