Women over the age of 35 should have regular breast examinations, as 90 percent of women suffer from breast diseases to varying degrees. Breast fibroids: a common benign tumor among young women. Most patients are between 20 and 25 years old. It is generally believed to be closely related to estrogen. The main symptom is the appearance of breast lumps. It also has a great impact on women's health, so we should treat it in time.

Breast fibroids can be divided into three categories:

1. Common fibroma: This type is more common. The tumor is relatively small and grows slowly, usually less than three centimeters.

2. Adolescent fibroadenoma, which mostly occurs during the menarche period, is relatively rare clinically. Its characteristics are rapid growth and relatively large tumors. The disease course is about one year and it can fill the entire breast.

3. Giant fibroadenoma. This condition is more common in middle-aged women, and can also be seen in women before and after menopause. It is characterized by relatively large growth, which can reach more than ten centimeters or even larger, and occasionally has sarcoma changes. Breast fibroids are currently the most common benign breast tumors, accounting for 75% of the incidence of benign breast tumors, and are more common in young women aged 20 to 25 years old. Breast fibroids, like breast hyperplasia and breast cancer, can be felt as lumps, but there is no obvious pain in the early stages. This type of disease is extremely harmful to women's health, especially the following three types of women, who are very likely to develop breast fibroids and develop cancer.

The following three types of women should be careful about breast fibroid cancer

1 Women with unstable estrogen

The formation of breast fibroadenomas is related to vigorous ovarian function and the sensitivity of the body and local breast tissue to excessive estrogen stimulation. Long working hours, staying up late, high-intensity mental work, unreasonable work and rest habits, etc., cause many women to develop prematurely, the estrogen in their bodies is unstable, endocrine disorders occur, and the risk of breast fibroids becoming cancerous increases greatly. Therefore, to some extent, precocious girls, stressed female white-collar workers, depressed older "leftover women", etc. are all high-risk groups for breast fibroids to become cancerous.

2 Pregnant or menopausal women

Generally speaking, simple breast fibroadenomas have little to do with breast cancer, and the chance of developing cancer is not high. However, during pregnancy, fibroids may suddenly grow larger, increasing the risk of cancer. Women over 40 years old, especially those who have developed fibroids before or after menopause, have an increased risk of fibroids becoming cancerous and need to pay more attention. In addition, if a patient suffers from both cystic breast hyperplasia and breast fibroids, their risk of cancer will increase.

3 Women with breast fibroids larger than 1.5 cm

Although the chance of fibroids becoming malignant is very small, once breast fibroadenomas are formed, it is difficult to treat them with medication alone, and breast fibroids will not disappear automatically. For women whose fibroids are larger than 1.5 cm, surgical removal is recommended as soon as possible.
