What to do if the follicles grow but are not discharged

The follicles should be discharged after a cycle, but there are often many problems with the follicles, including the situation that the follicles cannot be discharged after they grow up. This situation should be taken seriously because it may be caused by a certain disease. We should take certain methods to treat it. So what should we do if the follicles grow up but are not discharged?

If the egg matures but is not released, it may be due to ovulation disorder. Ovulatory disorders, also known as anovulation, are one of the main causes of female infertility, accounting for about 25-30%. In addition to causing infertility, ovulation disorders can also lead to symptoms such as menstrual disorders, amenorrhea, hirsutism, and obesity. In addition, if ovulation does not occur for a long time, sex hormone metabolism is disordered, and the endometrium proliferates excessively without the counteracting effect of cyclical progesterone, endometrial cancer and breast cancer are likely to occur. Therefore, sufficient attention should be paid to those with ovulation disorders, and active examinations and treatments should be carried out.

The causes of ovulatory disorders are often attributed to three aspects: dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, abnormal feedback mechanisms, and local ovarian factors. The hypothalamus and pituitary gland are key links in the female reproductive endocrine regulation axis. They are controlled by the central nervous system, releasing gonadotropin-releasing hormone and gonadotropin to regulate the functions of the ovaries and other organs, and are also subject to feedback regulation by hormones secreted by the ovaries and other endocrine glands. If there is organic lesion or dysfunction in the hypothalamus or pituitary gland, it can affect the normal ovulation function of the ovaries. A typical example is the abnormal secretion of pituitary prolactin caused by pituitary adenoma, which leads to ovulation disorders and menstrual disorders. How long the treatment takes will depend on your condition.

Follicular phase. The main focus is on nourishing blood and yin, while adding kidney yang-tonifying drugs to kidney yin-tonifying drugs. Promotes the development and maturation of follicles.

Ovulation period. At this time, in addition to nourishing the essence and blood, you should also add drugs that can dredge the meridians, promote qi movement, and activate blood circulation to induce ovulation.

Luteal phase. During this period, both yin and yang are replenished, with the main focus on replenishing kidney yang. Create a good environment for conception and prepare conditions for the implantation of the fertilized egg.

Menstrual period. At this time, we should take advantage of the situation and use methods to promote blood circulation and regulate menstruation to ensure smooth menstruation.
