What happens if the abortion is not clean?

What happens if the abortion is not clean?

Unexpected pregnancy is very common among young people. Their favorite way to deal with it is to go to the hospital for an abortion. Some women are afraid that their affairs will be known by their families, so they choose medical abortion. What they do is go to the pharmacy and buy some abortion pills, trying to complete the abortion process in this way. The final result is that the drug does not take effect completely and is not drained away completely. What will happen at this time?

If you see the fetal sac (white, the size of your thumbnail, and fluffy) being discharged during the medical abortion process, it can be considered that the medical abortion is basically completed. However, since the decidua attached to the inner wall of the uterus has not been completely discharged with the gestational sac, the contraction of the uterus is affected and the bleeding will not stop immediately, especially in the first three days after miscarriage. The bleeding will gradually decrease afterwards, and for some people the bleeding will stop within 7 days. Generally, the average number of days of minor bleeding after the discharge of the fetal sac due to medical abortion is 18 days. In some cases, the bleeding time may be longer. The reasons for the long bleeding time may be:

(1) Incomplete decidua removal affects uterine contraction and hemostasis; or the fetal sac is not completely expelled, leading to incomplete abortion. The main reason for incomplete decidua removal is the original inflammation of the endometrium, which makes the decidua adhere to the uterine wall, making it difficult to remove, affecting uterine contraction and hemostasis, and causing prolonged bleeding time. Therefore, before having a medical abortion, you must go to a regular hospital for a check-up. Those with endometritis or vaginitis should not have a medical abortion before they are cured.

(2) In a small number of patients, prolonged bleeding is caused by infection after medical abortion and inflammation of the endometrium. Therefore, after a miscarriage, you must pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals. Do not rinse the inside of the vagina. You can use warm water to rinse the vulva; change sanitary napkins or panty liners frequently; and absolutely no sexual intercourse within one month.

Treatment method:

(1) Take Gongxuening Capsules orally, two capsules at a time, once every 6 hours, until the decidua is seen or part of the fetal sac is expelled and the bleeding has basically stopped. Gongxuening has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and hemostatic effects. More importantly, it can help the uterus contract and expel residual decidual tissue or residual gestational sac out of the uterus. Clinically proven to be effective. While taking Gongxuening, if you suddenly feel pain or heaviness in your lower abdomen, or if your bleeding increases, you should pay attention to observation, as it is very likely that the residual tissue will be discharged. Patients with severe gastrointestinal diseases should not take Gongxuening.

(2) Those who cannot take Gongxuening can take Motherwort orally. Not suitable for people with diabetes.

Motherwort granules, take with boiled water, 15g each time, once every 8 hours.

Motherwort tablets, oral: 4 tablets each time, every 8 hours.

Motherwort oral liquid, 2 bottles each time, once every 8 hours.
