Hysterosalpingography is mainly used to detect the health of the fallopian tubes and check whether the fallopian tubes are blocked or not. Nowadays, many women have regular physical examinations, and hysterosalpingography is an important item in the examination. If many women have a delay in getting pregnant after marriage, it is recommended to do a hysterosalpingography. Some women get pregnant after the examination. Why is this? 1. Reasons In principle, it is best not to get pregnant within three months after the contrast examination. In addition, the doctor will clearly state that couples cannot have sex within two weeks after the contrast examination. The purpose is to avoid vaginal or fallopian tube infection. The purpose of requiring contraception for three months is to prevent side effects such as radiation during the examination. Angiography has the effect of clearing the fallopian tubes, so it is easier for women to get pregnant after angiography. 2. Process The first step is to dilate the vagina and expose the cervix. The cervix and fornix are disinfected with iohexol, the cervical catheter is filled with iohexol, the air in the tube is removed, the tube is inserted into the cervical canal along the direction of the uterine cavity, and the cervical clamp is tightened so that the conical rubber head of the catheter fits tightly against the cervix to prevent the drug from flowing out. The second step is that during the hysterosalpingography examination, the patient lies on his back on the X-ray machine operating platform, routinely disinfects the vulva and vagina, then lays a sterile towel, and then checks the position and size of the uterus. The third step is to observe the contrast agent flowing through the uterine cavity under X-ray fluoroscopy, and slowly inject the drug under fluorescent fluoroscopy. The first injection volume is 3~5ml. Observe its entry into the uterus and flow through the fallopian tube. At this time, a picture will be taken and then the drug will continue to be pushed in. The film will continue after 5-10 minutes. Step 4. Take another picture at the same location one day later, and then observe whether there is any free drug in the abdominal cavity. If both fallopian tubes are blocked, there will be no drug in the pelvic cavity. If there is only a small amount of drug, it can be considered that the fallopian tubes are obstructed. From the above content, we can know that hysterosalpingography has the effect of clearing the fallopian tubes, so many women are more likely to become pregnant after hysterosalpingography. But you need to know that you must actively use contraception after hysterosalpingography, otherwise there will be danger if you become pregnant. |
