Why doesn't my aunt leave?

Why doesn't my aunt leave?

The menstrual cycle varies according to people's physical conditions, and the duration varies. If it is maintained within the normal period, there is no problem. However, there are always women who experience prolonged menstruation. It is generally manifested as more blood in the early stage of menstruation and less blood in the later stage, and it is always only a little bit, which is not clean. Then let’s analyze the reasons why menstruation does not go away.

The normal menstrual cycle of a woman is generally 28 to 30 days. A period 3 days earlier or later is considered normal. For most people, menstruation lasts 3 to 7 days, with a menstrual volume of about 30 to 50 ml. Menstrual volume exceeding 80ml is considered menorrhagia. When certain factors affect hormone levels, endometrial area and coagulation mechanism, it will increase menstruation and prolong the menstrual period. The most common gynecological cause is uterine fibroids, which is a common disease accounting for 20% to 25% of women of childbearing age. The main clinical symptom is uterine bleeding, manifested as excessive menstruation and prolonged menstruation. In addition, gynecological endometriosis, endometrial polyps, endocrine problems and intrauterine device placement, and internal medicine blood diseases, liver diseases, lupus erythematosus, and primary hypothyroidism can also cause increased menstruation and prolonged menstruation. It is recommended that you identify the cause and treat it symptomatically.

The menstrual cycle, also called the ovarian cycle, is divided into four phases, including the follicular phase, ovulation phase, luteal phase, and menstruation phase:

1. Follicular phase: The follicular phase is from the first day of menstruation to the day of ovulation. During this period, under the influence of follicle-stimulating hormone, the concentration of estrogen in the body increases, the follicles gradually mature, and the endometrium thickens.

2. Ovulation period: Ovulation period refers to the process in which the egg cell and the surrounding cumulus granulosa cells are discharged together. A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period.

3. Luteal phase: The luteal phase refers to the period from ovulation to the day before menstruation. The ovaries are affected by luteinizing hormone and secrete progesterone to maintain the thickened endometrium to facilitate the implantation of the fertilized egg. If the fertilized egg does not implant, the endometrium will collapse and the menstrual cycle ends with the onset of menstruation.

4. Menstrual period: The duration of each menstrual period is called the menstrual period, which is generally 2-8 days, with an average of 4-6 days. Generally, there are no special symptoms during menstruation, but due to pelvic congestion and the effects of prostaglandins, some women may experience discomfort in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral area or uterine contraction pain, and may also experience symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction such as diarrhea.
