Nodules can appear in many parts and organs of the human body, among which breast nodules have a very high incidence rate. This disease is very harmful to women, so relevant preventive measures should be taken in daily life. For example, women who have given birth should learn to breastfeed, develop a healthy lifestyle, and especially learn to quit smoking and drinking. So, for diseases like breast nodules, can massage help treat it? Can I massage my mammary glands? Patients with breast nodules can be treated through massage. (1) Pushing and stroking method: The patient sits or lies on his side to fully expose his chest. First, sprinkle some talcum powder or apply a little paraffin oil on the affected breast, and then use the palms of both hands to gently push and stroke along the breast along the milk duct toward the nipple 50 to 100 times. (2) Massage: Use the hypothenar or thenar eminence of the palm to apply pressure to the affected area, and gently massage the red, swollen and painful areas. If there are lumps, massage them repeatedly several times until the lumps become soft. (3) Kneading, pinching and holding method: Use the five fingers of your right hand to grab the breast on the affected side and apply kneading techniques, grabbing and releasing, and repeat the technique 10 to 15 times. Use your left hand to gently pull the nipple several times to expand the milk ducts in the nipple. (4) Oscillation method: Use the hypothenar part of the right hand to push from the swelling of the breast along the base of the breast toward the nipple with high-speed oscillation, and repeat 3 to 5 times. The effect is better when a slight warm sensation appears locally. Don’t massage randomly! Because some nodules may change due to random massage! First, we need to determine the nature of the nodule, which is a benign, solitary nodule classified as BI-RADS grade 0 to 3. It is recommended to use physical red light therapy to treat breast nodules. Common breast red light therapy devices can penetrate deep into the breast, accelerate blood circulation and the metabolism of diseased cells, increase the phagocytic function of white blood cells, enhance breast immunity, control the growth rate of nodules, and ultimately achieve the goal of eliminating nodules. For patients with malignant breast nodules classified as BI-RADS grades 4 to 6, multiple benign breast nodules, and benign nodules with a family history of breast cancer, surgical resection is recommended. |
