What is the disease that causes increased leucorrhea?

What is the disease that causes increased leucorrhea?

Many gynecological diseases can cause an increase in women's vaginal discharge. Diseases such as vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and endometrial shedding can cause vaginal discharge to occur outside of the menstrual period. Pay special attention when leucorrhea appears outside the menstrual period, as this is an early symptom of the disease. If it is accompanied by abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding and other symptoms, you should go to the hospital to identify the cause and receive early treatment, which will achieve good treatment results.

What is the cause of excessive vaginal discharge?

Increased vaginal discharge brings troubles and worries to women of all ages. Many women don’t know what to do because of the sudden increase in vaginal discharge. So, why do women experience increased vaginal discharge?

First of all, we need to understand that the increase in vaginal discharge is not necessarily due to illness, because all healthy women will have reproductive tract discharge, and it cannot be understood as a pathology. You should first determine whether the leucorrhea is physiological or pathological.

1. Increased physiological leucorrhea

1. During ovulation or when a woman is pregnant, the increase in estrogen will cause the cervical glands to increase the secretion of mucus.

2. During intercourse, the bodies of both husband and wife will become excited due to sexual intercourse, and women will experience increased vaginal discharge.

3. Excessive stress on women can cause neurological dysfunction, which can easily lead to endocrine disorders and increase in leucorrhea.

4. During sexual intercourse, part of the semen ejaculated into the vagina by the male flows out of the body and is mistaken for leucorrhea.

2. Pathological leucorrhea

In addition to physiological factors that can cause increased vaginal discharge in women, pathological factors can also cause increased vaginal discharge. Common pathological causes of increased leucorrhea include vaginitis, cervicitis, uterine prolapse, genital herpes, uterine fibroids, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, gonorrhea, and genital warts. If a female friend experiences a sudden increase in vaginal discharge, she should be alert to whether she has these diseases.

Does more vaginal discharge mean pregnancy?

Some women may ask, I just had sex not long ago, my period hasn’t come, and my vaginal discharge has increased. Does this mean I’m pregnant? Actually, this is not necessarily the case. Want to know whether you are pregnant, in addition to the increase of leucorrhea, there are also these symptoms:

1. Menstruation has not come. My period is usually regular, but this time it didn't come on time. If the pregnancy is more than a week old, you can use a pregnancy test strip with morning urine to test. A positive test result indicates pregnancy.

2. Easy to feel sleepy. Many pregnant women will feel particularly tired and sleepy during the day in the early stages of pregnancy. This is caused by increased progesterone levels in the body. All you can do at this time is to rest as much as possible.

3. Nausea and vomiting. Many pregnant women experience nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue and loss of appetite around 6 weeks of pregnancy. In fact, this is normal. It will be fine around 12 weeks of pregnancy.

4. In addition to the above symptoms such as amenorrhea, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting, there are other ways to judge whether you are pregnant. Other symptoms include breast sensitivity, enlarged breasts, skin pigmentation, frequent and urgent urination, and constipation.

Symptoms of pregnancy vary from woman to woman. If you want to know whether a sudden increase in vaginal discharge indicates pregnancy, the best way is to go to the hospital for an ultrasound.
