3. Genetic factors: About 10-30% of patients with vulvar leukoplakia. It is caused by genetics. The genetically caused vulvar leukoplakia is mainly atrophic type, and the patients are mainly young girls. In clinical practice, the first thing to pay attention to for patients under 15 years old is genetic factors, and inquire whether there are patients with vulvar leukoplakia in their parents' family.

4. Other diseases: such as diabetes, vitiligo, vulvar eczema, vulvar itching, etc., if the drugs are abused or the treatment is improper, it may also cause or aggravate the formation and development of vitiligo.

②. Vulvar tissue biopsy is a pathological examination. When the vulva turns white, peels, or has other lesions, take samples from multiple points. First, apply 1% toluidine blue to the lesion area, wait for it to dry, and then use 1% acetic acid to decolorize it for inspection. This can clearly determine whether it is vulvar leukoplakia.
