1. Fasting blood glucose greater than or equal to 5.1mmol/L;

2. Oral administration of 75g of glucose on an empty stomach (dissolved in 250-300ml of pure water and drunk within 5 minutes) with blood sugar greater than or equal to 10.0mmol/L 1 hour later;

3. Oral administration of 75g glucose on an empty stomach (dissolved in 250-300ml pure water and drunk within 5 minutes) with blood sugar greater than or equal to 8.5mmol/L 2 hours later;

Those who meet any of the above conditions can be diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Please note that fasting means not eating or drinking energy drinks within 8 hours.

How is gestational diabetes treated?

1. Diet control. Through this method, most patients will have a significant improvement in blood sugar and may not need medication.

2. If the above methods cannot reach the blood sugar standard, human insulin or aspart insulin treatment can be considered.
