The unlimited availability of painless abortions has freed many women from the concerns about the pain of traditional abortions. However, compared with traditional abortion techniques, painless abortions only have the step of intravenous anesthesia, and the harm to the body still exists.

If the scraping is not clean enough, a second curettage will be required, increasing the patient's pain. Moreover, some patients have damaged endometrium, and may experience miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy after successful in vitro fertilization.

Infertility experts point out that the more times a woman has an abortion, the greater the possibility of scratching the uterus, and the higher the chance of infertility. In addition, abortion can also cause gynecological inflammation, irregular menstruation, uterine perforation and other sequelae. Therefore, women must pay attention to infertility in their daily lives and never regard abortion as a contraceptive tool.
