Is it really healthy to not eat after noon to lose weight?

Not eating after noon is one of the many ways to lose weight. Although this weight loss method is effective, it is extremely demanding on people's self-control, so it discourages some people from trying to lose weight. So what exactly is this method of not eating after noon?

1. The principle of not eating after noon weight loss method

The method of not eating after noon to lose weight is not a simple dieting method, but means not eating solid food after noon. In Tibet, that is before 1:15 p.m. There is a big time difference between the east and the west, so usually noon refers to 11:00-13:00, which means that after 13:00 in the afternoon, no food other than fruits and water is eaten.

The fullness period is 3-4 hours after food intake, the early fasting period is 12-16 hours after the fullness period, and the fasting period begins after 48 hours. When you are full, your body's blood sugar will rise, causing a large amount of insulin to accumulate, leading to the accumulation of fat cells. During the fasting period, blood sugar will slowly drop, increasing the secretion of leptin, thereby achieving the goal of weight loss.

Not eating after 13:00 is to take advantage of the early fasting period to prolong the effect of leptin and achieve the effect of weight loss. In addition, reducing carbohydrate intake will allow the damaged pituitary body weight regulation center to slowly recover and transform into a physique that is not easy to gain weight again, which is also very beneficial for weight loss.

2. The process of not eating after noon weight loss

Breakfast: (Eating) satiety period

Lunch: (Eating) Fullness period - Insulin secretion decreases - Hunger occurs

Fasting phase: (not eating) Full phase - enter the fat burning phase

For example: eat at 8 am, enter the fullness period from 11 am to 12 pm - during the fullness period, the body's blood sugar rises, causing a large amount of insulin secretion (causing fat accumulation in fat cells - fat hormone)

12:30 is lunch time, so 12:30-3:00-4:00 pm is the full period again

3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., the fasting period begins as blood sugar begins to slowly drop.

At 8 am, when you enter the fasting period, protein consumption will begin (but most people have already started or eaten breakfast during this period)
