Migraine is a very common disease in life. This disease is a manifestation of neurasthenia. If it is not treated in time, it will have a great impact on human health. So what are the specific symptoms of migraine? What are the symptoms of migraine? (1) Severe throbbing headache. If you touch your pulse with your hand, you can feel the pain in your head throbbing in rhythm with the pulsation of your arteries. The pain is usually on one side of the head, but it can also be bilateral. Some patients believe that migraine must be a unilateral headache, which is due to a misunderstanding of the name of the disease. (2) Oversensitivity. Overly sensitive to bright light, loud and sharp noises, and some smells, and often want to stay alone in a quiet dark place. (3) Intermittent and recurrent headaches. The headaches may be normal during the intermittent period or they may be chronic daily headaches. (4) Nausea and vomiting. The headache is worse when walking, especially going up and down stairs. (5) Visual abnormalities. Some patients may experience visual abnormalities before or during an attack, such as flashes of light, jagged patterns, or dark spots in the field of vision. Visual abnormalities that occur before a headache occurs are called the "aura" of a migraine. (6) Period of onset. The disease often begins during adolescence and is more common in women. Treatments for migraines 1. Rub your temples Every morning after waking up and before going to bed at night, use the middle fingers of both hands to press and rub your temples in circles. First rub 7 to 8 circles forward, then rub 7 to 8 circles backward. Repeat this several times for several days, and the migraine can be greatly relieved. 2. Comb and massage pain points Place the ten fingertips of both hands on the most painful area of the head, and perform a light and quick massage like combing your hair. Comb and massage 100 times back and forth each time. Do this once in the morning, noon, and before dinner every day, and you can achieve the purpose of relieving pain. 3. Soak your hands in hot water When a migraine attacks, immerse your hands in a pot of hot water (the water temperature should be the limit that your hands can tolerate after being immersed in the water) and soak for about half an hour. This will dilate the blood vessels in your hands and reduce the blood flow to the brain, gradually alleviating the headache. 4. Chinese medicine for nasal congestion Take 15g each of Chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica and roasted Polygala tenuifolia and dry them, then add 7g of borneol, grind them into fine powder and bottle them for later use. When treating migraine, you can wrap a small amount of medicine powder in silk cloth and plug it into the right nostril. Generally, the pain will be relieved in about 15 minutes after plugging the nose. 5. Eat foods containing magnesium Headache patients should regularly eat foods rich in magnesium, such as walnuts, peanuts, soybeans, kelp, oranges, almonds, whole grains and various green leafy vegetables, which can help relieve the symptoms of migraines. 6. Drink strong mint tea Take 15 grams of dried mint leaves and put them in a teacup. Brew it with freshly boiled water for 5 minutes and drink it once in the morning and evening. It also has a certain effect on treating headaches. |
