Causes of knee pain in women

The knees bear most of the body's weight and can easily develop problems if they are not properly protected. Some obese middle-aged and elderly women often have symptoms of knee pain. The symptom is that the knee joint will feel obvious pain when they are moving, especially when running, jumping, kneeling, and squatting, the knee joint movement is limited. The main reason is degenerative arthritis in the knee joints as women age. Obese women carry too much weight, which puts too much pressure on their knees, causing more obvious pain.

There are several reasons why people may suffer from knee pain:

1. Excessively high uric acid levels cause gout.

2. Rheumatoid arthritis.

3. The knees are hit, bruised, etc.

4. Fever, cold and viral pain caused by viruses.

5. Pain during growth and development period.

6. Pain after knee surgery.

7. Knee pain after strenuous exercise. Some scholars have conducted a sample survey in schools and found that among middle and high school students in elementary schools, about 4% to 5% of students will experience growing pains. This is what people usually call "growing pains" during adolescence. Growing pain often occurs during sleep at night (sleep food), and the pain is mainly located in the deltoid muscle of the thigh and the gastrocnemius muscle of the calf. It is a non-joint pain. The pain mostly feels like soreness, but may also cause tingling or burning pain. Some children with growing pains may also have symptoms such as calf cramps, headaches, and abdominal pain. In order to relieve the child's pain, parents can prepare a cup of hot milk before bedtime to replenish the calcium, iron and other nutrients needed for growth in time.

Knee pain is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, which is also related to injuries to the knee joint, such as inflammation and muscle tissue damage. Women suffering from kidney disease, anemia, hyperthyroidism and other diseases may also experience knee pain. If knee pain only occurs occasionally, it is likely caused by insufficient blood supply to the body. You should pay attention to getting more rest and increasing your nutrition.
