The presence of pimples on the vulva makes many women feel particularly worried. This is an abnormal phenomenon. Many women will also have pimples on the vulva after getting sexually transmitted diseases or inflammatory diseases. Some will feel itchy, while others will feel nothing. There are many reasons for this, and each person's situation is different. Let us now understand what pimples on the vulva are like. 1. Sebaceous gland ectopic disease It occurs in young people, and those under 30 years old account for 75% of the total number of cases. Small pimples: ① Location: Mostly occurs on the labial mucosa and cheek mucosa, but also occurs on the areola, glans penis, labia minora, clitoris, and inner side of the labia majora. ②Appearance: Pale yellow or white, millet-sized, flat and hemispherical papules, scattered or dense. ③Number: multiple. ④Change: It will not get bigger and bigger. ⑤Symptoms: No subjective symptoms. ⑥Others: When the skin or mucous membrane is stretched tight, the bumps become more obvious. 2. Vestibular gland cyst Small bumps on the vulva may be Bartholin's gland cysts. The exit of the Bartholin's gland is located on the inner side of the labia minora, making it easy for bacteria to invade and cause inflammation. Generally, bacteria first invade the epithelium of the Bartholin's gland ducts, causing the mucosa to swell, or the uterine adhesions occur after the tissue at the opening of the duct is destroyed, causing the opening of the duct to be blocked, and the secretions cannot be discharged, thus forming a Bartholin's gland cyst. It is often unilateral and of varying sizes. It may also be an early manifestation of vulvar inflammation. 3. Vulvar inflammation Another possible reason for small bumps on the vulva is vulvitis: this is caused by a large amount of leucorrhea irritating the skin in the labia area. In daily life, the vulva is easily contaminated with urine, feces, and leucorrhea, so that the vulva skin is often in a humid environment, which is suitable for bacterial growth. At this time, if the vulvar skin is abraded, or if hygiene is not paid attention to, or the body's resistance is reduced, the hair follicles and surrounding tissues will be infected by staphylococci and other bacteria, which will cause local vulvitis. Through the above introduction, we know what the situation of pimples on the vulva is. Generally, it may be caused by not paying attention to the hygiene of your vulva in daily life. If it does not get better for a long time, it may also be the above-mentioned diseases. When this happens, what we have to do is to seek medical treatment in time and provide timely treatment after finding out the cause. |
