Where is the hymen broken?

How is the hymen formed ?

When entering late adulthood, changes in estrogen levels will cause the hymen to gradually thicken, and its elasticity will continue to increase. Vaginal intercourse does not necessarily cause the hymen to rupture (depending on the shape of the ruptured hymen), or it may leave a shallow crack.

During pregnancy, due to the rise in estrogen levels, the hymen will thicken and stretch again, which will cause the hymen to be completely torn during pregnancy.
