Now many friends have this problem. If the male sperm and the female egg combine to form a fertilized egg and then implanted in the uterus, a new hormone, the legendary HCG, will be automatically produced in the female body. Then, taking an early pregnancy test strip can detect whether women are pregnant. Some people may doubt whether it will be inaccurate, so read on. Early pregnancy test: drop urine into the detection hole on the test paper. If a colored band appears in the control area of the test paper (some test papers appear red, some test papers appear blue), it indicates a negative result, indicating that you are not pregnant. On the contrary, if a clear colored band appears in the detection area, it indicates a positive result, indicating that you are pregnant. Urine sample: 1 This reagent uses human urine as the test sample. 2 Collect urine in a clean container. Urine within a day can be tested. It is recommended to use urine after waking up in the morning. 3 After collecting urine, if it cannot be used immediately, it should be refrigerated. The shelf life is 6-8 hours. Detection method: 1. Use a disposable urine cup or clean container to collect urine. 2. Tear open the aluminum foil bag along the cut and take out the test paper for testing. 3. Strip type: Dip the end of the test paper with the arrow mark into the container containing the urine sample to be tested (the urine sample is not allowed to exceed the MAX line), take it out and lay it flat after about 3 seconds. Card type: Use a pipette to draw 0.2mL (3-4 drops) of the urine sample to be tested into the sample addition area. Pen type: Remove the cap and let the urine pour directly onto the sample area while urinating, and maintain the urine collection time for 3 seconds (Please note: Do not let the urine exceed the arrow to prevent the urine from wetting the test area and affecting the test results). 4. Observe the test results in the test area: observe the test results within 5-10 minutes. Color development within 40 seconds is strongly positive. Positive: Color bands appear on both the upper and lower ends of the test strip, indicating pregnancy. Negative: Only a purple-red band appears on the upper end of the test strip and no band appears on the lower end, indicating that you are not pregnant. Invalid: No ribbon appears. This indicates that the test strip has expired. Test results: 1. Negative: A purple-red line (control line C) appears in the test area, indicating no pregnancy. 2. Positive: Two purple-red lines appear in the test area (control line C and test line T), indicating pregnancy. The color intensity of the test line at different stages of pregnancy changes with the change of HCG concentration. 3. Invalid: No purple-red line appears in the test area or only one purple-red line (test line T line) appears in the test area, indicating that the test failed or the test paper is invalid and should be retested. False positives: 1. The time of testing. HCG usually appears in the urine a few days after the fertilized egg implants, and it must reach a certain amount to be detected. Therefore, for women with normal menstruation, HCG can only be detected in the urine after the menstruation is delayed. Women with long menstrual cycles or abnormal ovulation can only be detected after 40-44 days of amenorrhea. 2. Some diseases and drugs may cause false positive results. Some tumor cells, such as hydatidiform mole, choriocarcinoma, bronchial carcinoma and renal cancer, can also secrete HCG. 3. Do not use expired test strips. Because chemical reagents lose their effectiveness over time, pay attention to the production date when purchasing. 4. Do not use test paper that has been damp. 5. When women of childbearing age experience early pregnancy symptoms such as amenorrhea, they cannot determine whether they are pregnant based on a single pregnancy test. The most reliable way is to undergo a comprehensive examination, especially for those with weak positive results, including HCG blood test, HCG urine test and B-ultrasound examination. So that action can be taken as soon as possible. 6. After three months of pregnancy, the HCG level will drop. If you use an early pregnancy test at this time, it may be negative or weakly positive. 7. If the product exceeds the period of use, it will lose its effect. Please go to the hospital for examination in time! Well, if you have read this far, I believe you have already understood the issue about early pregnancy test strips. If you are still not sure, you can go to the hospital for a detailed examination to determine whether you are pregnant. |
