What to do if a woman has uterine hypoplasia

Clinically, many diseases cannot be prevented, and treatment after contracting the disease is also difficult, but treatment can improve some physical characteristics and will help subsequent treatment. Female dysplasia includes many aspects of development, such as the brain, uterus, ovaries, etc. Any dysplasia in any part will harm the health of the body. Patients must detect the disease and treat it early. So what should we do if female dysplasia leads to uterine dysplasia?

1. Hormone therapy

Take 1 mg of diethylstilbestrol for 20 consecutive days starting from the 5th day of the menstrual cycle, and stop taking it 5-7 days before menstruation occurs. Continue taking it on the 5th day after the next menstruation, and take it for 3-6 months. After the uterus becomes larger, give an appropriate amount of progesterone in the second half of the menstruation for a total of 3 months to stimulate the corpus luteum function and facilitate conception. Sequential estrogen-progestin therapy can also be used.

2. Surgery

On the basis of hormone therapy to enlarge the uterus, adding cervical dilation surgery and endometrial curettage can obtain or increase the chance of conception.

3. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment

You can take placenta tablets and inject placental tissue fluid. Chinese patent medicines such as Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan can be taken under the guidance of a doctor. Other ingredients include 500 grams each of deer antler cream, placenta, cnidium monnieri, callicarpa ovata, cistanche deserticola, raspberry, angelica sinensis, and glossy privet fruit, 25 grams of pearl, and 100 grams of purple quartz. Grind into fine powder and pass through a 120-mesh sieve. Take 10 grams each time, 3 times a day, swallow. One course of treatment is 3 months, and the maximum number of courses is 3. It was reported that a total of 19,563 cases were treated, 15,432 of whom had given birth, with a pregnancy-birth rate of 78.88%; 3,763 cases of miscarriage, with an abortion rate of 19.24%.

(1) Insufficient kidney qi: Gynecological examination reveals uterine hypoplasia, scanty menstruation or amenorrhea, dark menstrual blood, thick and thin leucorrhea, infertility after marriage, soreness of waist and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, white sweat, fatigue, pale tongue, white fur, and deep, thready and weak pulse. The treatment should be to tonify the kidney and regulate menstruation, and the prescription can be modified from Guishen Pills.

(2) Gynecological examination of spleen and kidney yang deficiency shows uterine hypoplasia, scanty and light-colored menstruation, infertility after marriage, thin and clear leucorrhea, abdominal distension and poor appetite, soreness of waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus, loose stools, clear and long urine, thin white tongue coating, and slow pulse. The treatment should be to warm and tonify the spleen and kidney, invigorate qi and nourish blood. The prescription can be modified based on Yougui Pills.

(3) Kidney deficiency and blood stasis Gynecological examination shows uterine hypoplasia, abdominal pain during menstruation, scanty menstruation with dark red color or blood clots, low back pain, dizziness and tinnitus, chest and flank distension and discomfort, clear and long urination, dark tongue with petechiae and ecchymosis on the edges, thin white tongue coating, and deep, thin and astringent pulse. The prescription is Danggui Dihuang Yin combined with Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction with modifications.

When a woman's developmental disorders cause uterine hypoplasia, she must receive formal medical treatment, otherwise uterine hypoplasia will affect future fertility and cause great harm to the patient. Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine can be used to treat the disease. If the condition permits, surgical treatment can also be performed. This requires a combination of the patient's condition, fertility status, etc. During treatment, the menstrual situation should be observed, and regular follow-up examinations should be conducted to confirm the progress of treatment.
