How to treat nongonococcal cervicitis

Women hate to suffer from gynecological diseases, and non-gonococcal cervicitis is one of them. It is quite painful to suffer from such gynecological diseases. Nongonococcal cervicitis is a gynecological inflammation mainly caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum. So what are the symptoms and treatment of this disease? Let’s learn about it together, and I hope female friends can pay attention to their bodies.

Gonococcal cervicitis is a relatively common sexually transmitted disease. Most patients will have some obvious symptoms: the main manifestations are increased vaginal discharge, which is purulent or mucous, accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. The course of the disease is 1-2 months, and the carrier condition can persist for several months.

Non-gonococcal cervicitis is mainly caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and Mycoplasma infection, and is mostly treated clinically with oral sensitive drugs. However, due to various reasons such as the special survival mode of pathogenic bacteria and their drug resistance. Non-gonococcal cervicitis is not serious, but it is difficult to treat. You should start treatment as soon as possible and take medication until you are cured. It can be just intravenous drip. Of course, vaginal washing and local medication will be more ideal.

The main symptoms of non-gonococcal cervicitis are increased leucorrhea, abnormal vaginal secretions, lower abdominal discomfort, urgency and pain when urinating, etc. Examination reveals congestion and edema of the cervix, easy bleeding when touched, and increased yellow viscous secretions.

Treatment of non-gonococcal cervicitis:

1. For patients with simple mycoplasma infection, take the corresponding sensitive drugs orally according to the results of the drug sensitivity test, and take them for 10 consecutive days at the therapeutic dose, while also washing the vagina with drugs.

2. For patients with mild cervical erosion or endocervicitis, sprinkle powder or apply medicine directly on the lesion. For patients with severe cervical erosion, cervical laser, freezing or radiofrequency treatment should be used.

3. Sexual partners of symptomatic patients must receive diagnosis and treatment and thorough treatment.

4. In addition to drug treatment, laser treatment can also be used. CO2 laser can be used to treat erosions, causing the eroded tissue to carbonize and form a scab. After the scab falls off, the wound surface will be covered by new epithelium.

There are many drugs for the treatment of cervicitis, and many of them are very effective, such as:

Skin care lotion: clears away heat and detoxifies, cools blood and removes dampness, kills insects and relieves itching. Used for skin eczema and dermatitis with symptoms such as erythema, itching, papules, exudation, pustules, erosion, prickly heat rash, prickly heat, diaper rash, and eczema of the genitals. It is also effective for bacterial vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, Chlamydia vaginitis, cervicitis, vulvar itching, and abnormal leucorrhea.

Anti-endometritis soft capsules: clear dampness and heat, stop leucorrhea. It is used for damp-heat invasion, leucorrhea, cervical erosion, bleeding and other symptoms caused by chronic cervicitis. (Cervical erosion is a manifestation of other cervicitis. When the epidermis of the cervical os is shed and replaced by another epithelial tissue at the cervical os, the new epithelium covering the surface is thin, and even the blood vessels and red tissue underneath can be seen, which looks like real erosion; that is why it is called cervical erosion.)

Polycresol sulfonaldehyde vaginal suppository: treatment of cervical erosion, cervicitis, various vaginal infections (such as increased leucorrhea caused by bacteria, trichomonas and fungi), vulvar itching, and pressure ulcers caused by the use of pessaries.

The symptoms and treatments of non-gonococcal cervicitis are introduced in the above article. I hope all women will remember these symptoms. Once they find themselves with these symptoms, they know that they have non-gonococcal cervicitis. At this time, you must receive treatment immediately, stop having sex, and wash your underwear frequently, so that you can recover faster.
