Leucorrhea is a secretion unique to women. Generally speaking, leucorrhea should be colorless, transparent and without any unpleasant smell. The state of leucorrhea can be used to determine whether a woman's reproductive system is healthy. If a woman suffers from a gynecological disease, her leucorrhea will show many abnormalities, such as turning green or yellow and having a strong odor. Some women usually have very thick leucorrhea, but no odor. Why is that? The leucorrhea is thick like paste and has no odor. It is considered to be caused by diet. Meat, eggs and milk secrete more estrogen. Leucorrhea is related to estrogen secretion. When there is more estrogen in the body, the secretion is more, and when there is less estrogen, the secretion is less and thicker. Leucorrhea is a white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. Leucorrhea is divided into physiological leucorrhea and pathological leucorrhea. Pathological leucorrhea is mostly caused by inflammation. Common pathological leucorrhea in clinical practice include: colorless, transparent, sticky leucorrhea, white or grayish yellow foamy leucorrhea, curd-like leucorrhea, watery leucorrhea, etc. The formation of leucorrhea is closely related to estrogen. When the secretion of estrogen reaches its peak, the leucorrhea will be abundant and transparent. It will be sticky like egg white and can be pulled into threads. Under normal circumstances, vaginal lactobacilli are dominant in the vagina, with a small amount of anaerobic bacteria, mycoplasma and Candida albicans. These bacteria form a normal ecological balance. However, when the human body's immunity is low, endocrine hormones change, or external factors such as tissue damage and sexual intercourse disrupt the ecological balance of the vagina, these resident bacteria will become pathogenic bacteria, break through the vaginal barrier and cause infection. Therefore, the vulva should be cleaned with clean water every day. Avoid excessive cleaning and frequent use of pharmaceutical-grade washes, disinfected sanitary pads, etc., as these can easily destroy the weakly acidic environment of the vagina. Pay attention to care during pregnancy: During pregnancy, sex hormone levels, glycogen and acidity in the vagina will increase, making it easier to be invaded by fungi. For pregnant women, oral medications should not be used, but local prevention and auxiliary treatment plans should be selected. It is recommended that women should eat more foods that clear away heat and dampness, such as dates, yam, etc., and should also eat more fruits and vegetables. Don't eat meat all the time, and don't eat snacks. Especially for working women, do not drink a lot of alcohol for social occasions, as this is very harmful to leucorrhea and physical health. |
