Performing Z-plasty at both ends of the incision can narrow the nipple neck and improve the shape of the nipple, further preventing the recurrence of nipple retraction. When bandaging inverted nipple surgery, be careful to prevent the nipple from being compressed. Make a hole in the middle of the dressing or sponge and place the nipple in it.
