How to care for vaginal tear during normal delivery

Giving birth is not an easy thing. It is also the biggest responsibility of women and the biggest explanation to the family. Therefore, every family needs to replenish its vitality with new life, and women are the most critical link. It is said that it is not easy for women to be pregnant for 10 months. In fact, the most difficult time is during delivery. A considerable number of modern women choose to insist on natural delivery, but natural delivery can cause vaginal tearing. Let’s take a look at the care of vaginal tearing during natural delivery.

Prevent vulvar infection

1. Change sanitary pads frequently to avoid getting them wet. It will be difficult for the wound to heal if it is soaked in a wet sanitary pad.

2. Rinse the perineum frequently with warm water every day, especially after each bowel movement, wipe the vulva with Sanisol disinfectant cotton balls. Do not wipe from back to front, but from front to back.

Preventing perineal incision dehiscence after suture removal

1. Get out of bed and move around early after delivery, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, drink more fish soup, pig's trotter soup and other soups, and avoid spicy food to keep bowel movements smooth.

2. When constipation occurs, do not breathe in or force it. You can use a suppository to help relieve constipation.

3. Avoid squatting or doing any strenuous movements within a few days after the stitches are removed. For example, when defecating, you should first contract the perineum and buttocks before sitting on the toilet. Holding your breath and exerting force is often the cause of perineal wound rupture.

4. When sitting, the center of gravity of the body should be tilted to the right to prevent the wound from being compressed and the incision epidermis from being dislocated.

5. Avoid falling or excessive abduction of the thigh, as this may cause the wound to reopen.

6. It is not advisable to be discharged from the hospital on the same day after the wound is broken, because wound dehiscence often occurs on the day the stitches are removed.

From the above explanation, it can be seen that vaginal tearing during normal childbirth has a relatively large impact on women's bodies, because this phenomenon can cause great harm to women's lower bodies. Therefore, people should pay more attention to women's bodies in life so that women who give birth can get the best care.
