How to treat chronic cervical inflammation and what methods are there?

Chronic cervical inflammation is a common disease in gynecology today, and many people are particularly helpless about it. Especially women in some remote mountainous areas are too embarrassed to talk about this disease, and also because they lack the conditions to see a doctor. So they all chose to endure it silently. But we should understand that if there is a disease, it must be treated. So what methods can we use to quickly treat chronic cervical inflammation?

Chronic cervicitis is the most common gynecological disease and is more common in multiparous women. The main clinical manifestations are increased leucorrhea, which is milky white or slightly yellow, or viscous and purulent, and sometimes bloody or mixed with blood. It is generally not difficult to diagnose through gynecological examination. Local manifestations of the cervix are often erosion, cervical hypertrophy, endocervicitis, cervical glandular cysts and cervical squamous metaplasia. The main symptom of chronic cervicitis is increased vaginal discharge.

The leucorrhea is milky white and mucous, sometimes yellow or pus-like. When accompanied by polyp formation, bloody leucorrhea or bleeding after sexual intercourse may occur. When the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity, there may be lumbar pain, lower abdominal distension and dysmenorrhea. These symptoms worsen before and after menstruation, bowel movements, and sexual intercourse.

Chronic inflammation is caused by long-term stimulation, so you should pay attention to hygiene, keep the vulva clean and prevent the invasion of pathogens. Take good contraceptive measures and try to avoid mechanical damage to the cervix caused by multiple abortions. At the same time, gynecological surgery should be performed by experienced doctors, and the operation should be sterile and gentle to prevent iatrogenic infection and injury. Sexual intercourse should be strictly prohibited during menstruation and after childbirth to prevent pathogenic bacteria from entering. Sexual intercourse should be avoided during the treatment of chronic cervicitis. Stop applying topical medication during menstruation. During the treatment, spicy and greasy foods should be avoided to prevent the lingering dampness and heat. If the condition recurs and moderate or severe cervical erosion occurs, physical therapy such as microwave and electric ironing is required.
