The emergence of anti-tuberculosis drugs has brought about major changes and leaps in the treatment of tuberculosis. Other treatment measures have been mostly abandoned, and cases that previously required surgery have been replaced by safe, simple and more effective drug treatments. However, in order to achieve ideal therapeutic effects, the five principles of rational treatment must be implemented, namely early, combined, appropriate, sufficient and regular use of sensitive drugs. Early tuberculosis lesions are in the bacterial reproduction stage. The earlier and fresher the lesions are, the better the blood supply is, and the easier it is for drugs to penetrate. However, due to the long course of drug treatment, patients often find it difficult to adhere to the regimen, resulting in premature discontinuation of medication or irregular medication, leading to treatment failure. For this reason, clinicians should pay more attention to the two principles of rules and adequate treatment, pay attention to the patient's treatment situation, strengthen supervision of patients, avoid stopping medication midway or arbitrarily changing medication, and avoid incomplete treatment, which will lead to adverse consequences such as drug resistance and difficulty in treatment.
