Best medicine for breast duct dilatation

Mammary duct dilatation often presents as headaches and irregular menstruation, and occurs occasionally in women. Mammary duct dilatation may cause breast malignant tumors. Therefore, when you find mammary duct dilatation-related lesions, you should adjust your physical condition in time, control your emotions, and don't get angry often. So what are the best medicines for mammary duct dilatation? Most doctors tend to recommend some oral Chinese medicines, such as Xiaojindan, Xiaoyaosan, etc., and you need to follow the doctor's instructions for specific treatments.

Causes of mild mammary duct dilatation

1. Ductal excretion disorder: accumulation of secretions in the ducts; congenital nipple deformity, depression, unclean or foreign hair and fibers; middle-aged and elderly women's ovarian dysfunction and degenerative changes in the mammary ducts, etc., can block the nipple holes and cause mild dilation of the mammary ducts.

2. Abnormal hormone stimulation: The reason why the ductal epithelium produces abnormal secretion is because of the stimulation of abnormal sex hormones, which causes the mammary ducts to dilate slightly. If the duct is obstructed but there is no abnormal hormonal stimulation to promote epithelial secretion, duct dilatation is unlikely to occur.

3. Infection: Mild dilatation of the mammary duct is related to anaerobic infection or areola infection. In addition to stimulating duct dilation, the secretions in the mammary ducts may also overflow from the ducts, eventually causing an inflammatory reaction around the ducts characterized by plasma cell infiltration, so we also call it plasma cell mastitis.

Mammary duct dilatation hazards

1. Breast pain: Women may experience unilateral or bilateral breast pain, tingling, or severe pain that cannot be touched. The breasts swell rapidly and may radiate to the armpits, chest, shoulders, back and upper limbs. The pain worsens before menstruation or when you are angry or depressed. The pain is significantly reduced or disappears after menstruation. Some cases may present as nipple pain or itching, and the pain may fluctuate with mood and menstrual cycle. There may also be abnormal lumps, 3 to 4 cm in size.

2. Breast cyst: Breast cyst is caused by factors such as poor breast structure and inflammation, which induce the shedding of epithelial cells in the mammary lobe or lobule ducts or other substances blocking the ducts, resulting in poor milk discharge from the lobes. The milk accumulates in the breast, causing the ducts to expand and form cysts. This disease is a benign lesion of the breast, which often occurs in the center of the breast, around the nipple, especially above the nipple. Common diseases are breast inflammation and a history of breast trauma, which lead to obstruction of the large duct opening.

3. Breast fibroids: Breast fibroids are caused by lesions in the breast ducts. They are more common in young women and are a common type of tumor disease. It is related to excessive estrogen in the body and can occur in one or both breasts, usually unilaterally. The lump is oval or round, with a smooth surface and a medium hard texture. It is clearly demarcated from the surrounding tissues and has no adhesion to the skin, and the lump can be easily pushed away. The best option is surgical treatment, but only a few people can accept this method, mainly because although the surgery removes the local tumor, the endocrine disorder in the body is not corrected, it is easy to relapse, and it will leave scars on the breast.

4. Breast cancer: Lesions in the mammary ducts can also cause breast malignant tumors. Breast lumps are the most common typical manifestation of breast cancer. Retracted nipple; nipple itching, desquamation, erosion, ulceration, etc. "Dimples" and "orange peel" are common manifestations of breast cancer on the skin and contours.
