What are the factors that affect follicle development?

Poor follicular development is a problem that troubles many women, because poor follicular development will affect women's normal ovulation. If ovulation is abnormal, it will also directly affect women's conception. Therefore, if a woman's ovarian follicles are found to be poorly developed, she will be very worried that it will affect her pregnancy. So what are the reasons for poor follicular development?

1. Pituitary problems: This is because the ovaries are not well developed. Common diseases include pituitary prolactinoma and hyperprolactinemia. Therefore, you should go to the hospital to check in time to see what causes the poor development of follicles. Only symptomatic treatment can effectively restore ovulation.

2. Premature ovarian failure: Many female friends will experience premature ovarian failure when they reach a certain age. This phenomenon will cause poor development of follicles. Generally, patients are prone to scanty menstruation or even amenorrhea during their menstrual period. Even with the use of ovulation-stimulating drugs, ovulation will not occur again. Most of these cases occur in women after menopause.

3. Polycystic ovary syndrome: Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome do not ovulate every month. They will have multiple small follicles every month, but they are often immature. It is quite difficult for such patients to get pregnant.

Generally speaking, starting from the 8th day of the menstrual cycle, ultrasound monitoring should be done once every 2 days. When the diameter of the follicle is found to be 17 mm, monitoring should be changed to once a day. When the follicle matures and reaches a diameter of 20-23 mm, it should be measured twice a day if necessary until ovulation. Only when the follicles develop and mature can they function well and the eggs released can be mature and healthy. If the follicles are underdeveloped, ovulation cannot occur normally or the quality of the eggs released is poor, it will affect normal conception and fertility.

The above article introduces some reasons that cause poor follicular development. After understanding these reasons, treatment should be carried out. If the follicles do not develop well, you can take ovulation injections or ovulation-stimulating drugs for treatment. In addition to these methods, you can also use Chinese medicine or dietary conditioning. You can eat more foods like black beans.
