What exactly is going on with poor follicular development?

Poor follicular development is a very common disease that affects female fertility. Because the female ovarian follicles do not develop well, it will affect the female's ovulation. The eggs discharged are not fully mature, so they cannot be fertilized, which will affect conception. Therefore, poor follicular development requires treatment. So what are the causes of poor follicular development?

There are many reasons why women have poor follicular development. Poor follicular development means that ovulation cannot occur normally, or the quality of the eggs discharged does not meet the standards, which will affect the normal fertility of women, because only mature eggs discharged by women can be fully functional.

1. Premature ovarian failure occurs. Some female friends experience poor follicular development due to premature ovarian failure. It is normal for patients to have early menstruation, and they may even have a history of childbearing. However, later on, their menstrual flow becomes scanty, and some even experience amenorrhea. This is usually because the follicles in the patient's ovaries have been used up, and ovulation-stimulating drugs cannot be used to allow them to develop, or there are primordial follicles, but they have no response to gonadotropins.

2. Suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome. Polyovary syndrome is one of the reasons for poor follicular development. This condition is the most common cause of female friends not ovulating. Its characteristics are: the ovaries become larger and have multiple small follicles, but they cannot develop to maturity. Drugs are needed to promote the development of female friends' follicles.

3. Pituitary problems. Poor development of female ovaries can lead to abnormal ovulation. Such as: pituitary prolactinoma, hyperprolactinemia, etc.

4. Hypothalamic anovulation occurs. Such as: primary organic/functional factors, secondary organic/functional lesions.

5. Abnormal functions of the thyroid gland and adrenal cortex may cause ovulation disorders, leading to poor follicle development.

The article introduces some causes of incomplete follicular development. Only after understanding these causes can we provide symptomatic treatment. The causes of illness are different for each person and need to be considered based on their own actual situation. There are many treatments for poor follicular development, such as ovulation injections, ovulation pills, etc.
