Picture of fetus in the womb

During the ten months of pregnancy, the fetus is constantly sleeping and moving in the mother's belly. The fetus in the pregnant woman's belly lives in the amniotic fluid, which is basically a floating state. The posture of the fetus is indeed what many parents are most concerned about when doing four-dimensional color ultrasound. There are many different postures of the fetus in the belly of a pregnant woman. So, what are the postures of the fetus in the belly?

1. Picture of the baby's posture in the uterus

1. Curl up with your whole body

Generally, a 9-month-old baby in a normal fetal position is head down with legs curled up, and kicks the pregnant mother's abdomen from time to time. Some pregnant mothers may worry that the baby will feel uncomfortable, but in fact the uterine space is too small for a 9-month-old baby, so the baby can only curl up like this.

2. Cross your legs

If there is more space, the baby may sometimes cross his legs like a little adult. It is not difficult to see that the daily life of the fetus in the womb is still very leisurely. In addition, this phenomenon is only temporary, so pregnant mothers don’t need to worry too much.

3. Sit quietly with your hands clasped together

Generally, 9-month-old fetuses are basically unable to fully flex and extend their limbs. Their hands are basically kept between their ears and chests. They cover their faces, touch their ears, clench their fists, etc. from time to time, which is really cute. No matter what the fetal position is in the mother's belly (cephalic, breech, transverse), the baby can only curl up and make some small movements. Of course, they will kick their legs from time to time.

2. How does the fetus breathe in the womb?

The fetus develops in the mother's uterus, relying on the embryo in the mother and the umbilical cord to provide him (her) with the necessary oxygen and nutrients. What the mother eats during pregnancy will be sent to the embryo in the uterus after digestion and absorption. The embryo is the digestive system, vocal organ, and excretion system of the fetus. The nutrients and CO2 needed by the fetus can be provided through the umbilical cord, and the waste produced by the fetus can be metabolized through the umbilical cord and embryo.
