Some women experience pain when urinating. What is going on? The first place where urine is produced is the kidneys. The urethra is below the urinary tract, and the ureters are above the urinary tract, so the urine is discharged from the body. If any of these links goes wrong, problems will arise. In addition, various diseases of the reproductive system may also cause painful urination. There are many diseases that can cause painful urination, such as urethritis, candidal vaginitis, endocervicitis, uterine fibroids, etc. Once you find that you have symptoms of painful urination, you might as well consider these diseases.

1. Nonspecific vaginitis

The main symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis are massive shedding of the vaginal epithelium, congestion of the vaginal mucosa, obvious tenderness, and in severe cases, general fatigue and lower abdominal discomfort. The discharge is excessive and purulent or serous. The outflow of discharge irritates the urethra and causes severe urinary pain.

2. Fungal vaginitis

The prominent symptoms of this disease are increased vaginal discharge and severe itching of the vulva and vagina, severe edema of the vaginal membrane, and the adhesion of white flaky films that are easy to peel off. In addition, the eroded base of the damaged mucosa or the formation of shallow ulcers can irritate the urethra and cause urinary pain.

3. Uterine fibroids

This is a benign genital tumor that is common in women aged 30-50 years old. Its symptom is a lump in the lower abdomen. Bacteria on these lumps may invade the urethra through the reproductive tract and cause painful urination.

Painful urination is a common symptom among women, and many diseases can cause this symptom. After the symptoms appear, remember to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. Treatment is generally with medication. Pay more attention to your diet in daily life and do not eat irritating foods such as onions, leeks, ginger, etc. Remember to drink plenty of water.
