Certain occupations, such as long-distance runners, are prone to amenorrhea. In addition, some abnormal bleeding during pregnancy is often mistaken for menstrual irregularities. In clinical diagnosis of neuroendocrine dysfunctional menstrual disorders, the above-mentioned organic causes must be excluded.
