What is the reason for the pain in the vagina?

Many women may experience a little pain in their vagina in their daily lives. This may be caused by gynecological diseases. There are many types of gynecological diseases in women, such as vaginitis or uterine diseases. You must go for a check-up in time so that you can find the cause of the disease, which is also very good for your body. Let's learn about it below.

Gonococcal vaginitis in women is characterized by inflammation of the vulva and vagina. There is a lot of purulent vaginal discharge, sometimes yellow-green discharge from the vagina and urethra, painful urination, vaginal stinging, and redness and swelling of the vulva. The discharge may flow into the anus and cause irritation. In severe cases, the rectum may be infected, causing gonococcal proctitis.

Women mainly transmit vaginal tingling through sexual intercourse, and non-sexual transmission accounts for a very small proportion, such as using unsterilized clothes, sheets, bathtubs, toilets and fingers used by patients that contain gonorrhea secretions.

There is not a single cause for vaginal stinging. It may be caused by vaginitis, cervicitis, vaginal tumors, cervical cancer, etc. Cervicitis (cervical erosion) can also cause stinging pain during sexual intercourse.

Cervicitis may also cause a tingling sensation. Cervicitis is an inflammation of the cervix caused by bacterial infection. It often occurs after frequent sexual intercourse, childbirth, miscarriage or surgical injury, when bacteria invade the wound.

Cervicitis can be divided into acute and chronic types. Acute cervicitis is often accompanied by acute endometritis and acute vaginitis, which manifests as increased vaginal discharge and lower abdominal pain. In severe cases, symptoms such as low back pain and fatigue may also occur.

Chronic cervicitis is characterized by increased vaginal discharge, which is milky white mucus or light yellow purulent fluid, and worsens during sexual intercourse. Gynecological examination may reveal cervical erosion, hypertrophy, or cervical polyps, lacerations, etc.

The above are some of the reasons why there is pain in the vagina. You will only know the details after you go for an examination. Only by adjusting your body according to your own physical condition can your body get better as soon as possible. Gynecological diseases are a more difficult problem for women, but you don’t have to worry too much, because paying good attention in daily life can help you adjust it.
