Women's menstruation is a normal state of uterine bleeding. In addition, if the menstrual cycle, frequency, regularity, bleeding changes, and bleeding outside of menstruation, these can be called abnormal uterine bleeding. So there are many reasons for abnormal uterine bleeding. So is abnormal uterine bleeding serious?

Some women have abnormal uterine bleeding due to physiological reasons, such as ovulation bleeding. This condition is not very serious and can be cured quickly. In addition, women who have not entered menopause must undergo a thorough examination as soon as possible if they experience abnormal non-menstrual bleeding for two consecutive months. If you haven't had your period for more than three months, eliminating the possibility of pregnancy, this condition is likely caused by endometrial hyperplasia. If it is not treated and remains in the uterus layer by layer, it is likely to cause serious changes and even endometrial cancer. Also, if it is menstruation, which only comes once every few months, each bleeding is shocking, and this situation must also be taken seriously.

In most cases, abnormal uterine bleeding in women is caused by many reasons including cysts, adenomyosis, leiomyoma, malignant tumors, coagulation disorders, ovarian failure, uterine wall disease, and iatrogenic factors. Therefore, relatively speaking, the condition that causes abnormal uterine bleeding in women is still a serious situation. Women have menstruation every month, but bleeding outside of menstruation must be taken seriously.

Abnormal uterine bleeding is common in women, and it involves factors related to the uterus and uterine wall. When there are abnormalities in the structure and function of the spiral arteries in a woman's uterus and uterine wall, it will cause abnormal uterine bleeding. It should be noted that if such changes occur in the blood circulation vascular bed, it will also cause abnormal uterine bleeding in women. Also, if there are abnormal changes in the coagulation function of the uterus and endometrium, the endometrial steroids and lysosomes in the uterine wall have dysfunction due to some factors, or prostacyclin metabolism is abnormal, all of these can lead to abnormal uterine bleeding.

There is also multifunctional bleeding. Multifunctional bleeding, this type of abnormal bleeding, is mostly caused by abnormal growth hormone metabolism in the urinary system. Women of childbearing age are very likely to experience this condition, and a small number of postmenopausal women will also experience multifunctional bleeding.

In addition, there are systemic factors. Malnutrition caused by failure to provide the body with adequate nutrition in diet, excessive mental stimulation or psychological trauma, endocrine disorders and metabolic abnormalities caused by other diseases are all causes of abnormal uterine bleeding. Common conditions include anemia, blood disorders, diabetes, etc.
