Symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis

Symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis

I always thought that being a woman was troublesome. Washing clothes, cooking and taking care of children were just trivial matters. There was also menstruation every month, and some women even had various gynecological diseases. Generally speaking, most women after marriage will have gynecological diseases, but some are serious and some are mild. So it is really difficult to be a woman. Some chronic and recurring gynecological diseases can never be cured. Dysmenorrhea, various discomforts, irritability every month, all the bad things probably come to us women. So what is Trichomonas vaginitis?

1. Increased secretions

Trichomonas vaginitis can cause increased secretions, which often overflow from the vaginal opening and irritate the skin of the vulva. Patients will feel itching and burning of the vulva. When combined with urinary tract infection, there may be frequent urination, painful urination, and even hematuria. The foam in the secretions is due to the production of gas after carbohydrates are broken down in the vagina.

Trichomonas consumes glycogen in vaginal epithelial cells, changes vaginal acidity and alkalinity, destroys defense mechanisms, and promotes secondary bacterial infection. Therefore, it often causes inflammatory attacks when the vaginal pH changes before and after menstruation, during pregnancy, or after childbirth.

2. Changes in leucorrhea

The leucorrhea caused by Trichomonas vaginitis is light yellow, gray or milky white, thin, abundant, and has a foul or mouse-like odor. It contains fine foam and is sometimes mixed with blood and is pink and purulent.

3. Vulvar itching

Vulvar itching is also one of the symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis. Vulvar itching caused by Trichomonas vaginitis mainly occurs at the vaginal opening and vulva, and is also accompanied by a burning sensation and pain during sexual intercourse, which are secondary symptoms.

Based on the above symptoms, do you understand your condition? If you do, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time to avoid delaying treatment. Gynecological diseases are also difficult to cure. Otherwise, why would people say that being a woman is difficult and that there will be troubles from various diseases? Well, it's because we are women. But don't worry, just pay attention to your personal hygiene and try not to go to public swimming pools, hot springs, bathhouses, etc. If you do go there, don't use the public towels provided there. Pay attention to your eating habits and cooperate with the doctor's treatment and you will recover soon. Get well soon!
