We all know that if high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) continues to infect the human body, it will cause many diseases in the human body. Some serious ones will cause cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, perianal cancer and male penile cancer. Many people go for a pregnancy check before preparing for pregnancy to check whether they are suitable for having a baby. So, is it possible to have a baby if the HPV test is positive? Can I have a baby if I test positive for HPV? Generally, if the HPV test is positive during the pregnancy preparation stage, as long as it is confirmed that there are no precancerous and lesional symptoms of cervical cancer, normal pregnancy preparation can be carried out. However, since everyone's physical condition is different, whether to prepare for pregnancy still needs to follow the advice of a specialist. The main methods to determine whether the cervix has disease or lesions are TCT and HPV. If necessary, cervical conization and colposcopy biopsy can also be performed. However, if the HPV test is positive, whether it is a caesarean section or a natural birth, the baby is at risk of being infected with HPV when the mother delivers it, mainly because the baby will pass through and come into contact with the contaminated birth canal and amniotic fluid. However, some experts suggest that there is no need to worry about the risk of the baby being infected with HPV during a natural birth and choose a caesarean section, because HPV infection cannot be avoided during a caesarean section. HPV positive means that the high-risk type of human papillomavirus infection is positive. In this case, it is best to do a TCT, and it is also best to do a colposcopy plus a puncture biopsy to determine whether there are lesions or precancerous lesions on the cervix. If neither of these two conditions exists, it is generally recommended to cure the HPV virus before becoming pregnant. However, if the HPV positive titer is relatively low and the colposcopy biopsy is normal, if you want to get pregnant, but time is relatively urgent, you can still try to get pregnant first. However, regular follow-up for cervical TCT and HPV tests are necessary during pregnancy and after childbirth to prevent the condition from worsening and to prevent changes or lesions in the cervix during pregnancy and after childbirth. The vast majority of women are at risk of being infected with HPV, but among those infected, about 90% can change from positive to negative within 1 to 2 years. Since there is no special medicine that can completely eliminate HPV so far, couples must pay attention to cleanliness in their daily lives. |
