If I have an ectopic pregnancy for the first time, will it happen again next time I get pregnant?

Ectopic pregnancy is an abnormal manifestation of pregnancy, and this phenomenon requires timely termination of pregnancy. However, many people still do not understand ectopic pregnancy. For example, some people may suspect that the second ectopic pregnancy is ectopic after the first one. So in the face of these questions, let’s analyze in detail whether the second ectopic pregnancy will also occur after the first one.

If there is nothing abnormal with the fallopian tube after the removal of an ectopic pregnancy, the baby will be born normally in the future. The incidence of ectopic pregnancy due to an extrauterine conception is not as common as imagined. According to statistics, it happens in about 3% to 5% of cases. On the contrary, the chances of ectopic pregnancy are higher after a normal delivery. The reason why ectopic pregnancy, especially tubal pregnancy, occurs is mainly due to some reason that makes the fallopian tube blocked or the flow volume narrow. Generally speaking, it is rare for a woman to be born with an ectopic pregnancy. However, if she has had tuberculous diseases (tuberculous pleurisy, peritonitis, hemorrhoids) or sexually transmitted diseases (gonorrhea), or has had a miscarriage or induced abortion, she is more likely to have an ectopic pregnancy.

If you find that the left and right sides of the fallopian tube become narrower, it is due to the above reasons that ectopic pregnancy may occur again. However, as I just said, such cases are rare, so there is no need to worry.

Of course, that being said, people who have had surgical experiences probably won’t have confidence in their next pregnancy. But no matter what, pay close attention to the course of your pregnancy. Even if you notice a little abnormality, stay calm and seek diagnosis from an obstetrician and gynecologist as early as possible.

Because every woman hopes to give birth to a healthy and smart baby, so naturally we need to understand this common sense. This is also to better ensure our own health and the growth of the fetus. Therefore, whether before or during pregnancy, women cannot ignore this common sense.
