What causes chest pain during menstruation?

It is normal for female friends to have menstruation. Having menstruation means that you can have a baby and become a mother. This is a very happy thing for women. However, after having menstruation, some symptoms of physical discomfort will appear. Some people will feel chest pain, headache and buttock pain. These symptoms are very common. What is the cause of chest pain during menstruation?

If you feel chest pain before your period and it disappears after your period, it is normal and you don't need to worry too much. It is caused by hormonal changes in the body. However, if the symptom persists after your period ends, you should go to the hospital immediately. The mammary gland is an organ affected by endocrine hormones. During each menstrual cycle, estrogen and progesterone cyclically cause changes in breast tissue proliferation ("flushing" congestion) and regression. If estrogen is produced too much and the ratio with progesterone is unbalanced, breast tissue hyperplasia will not fully recover, causing breast structural disorder, etc., which is called lobular hyperplasia of the breast.

Mastodynia: It is more common in women in their 20s, with breast tenderness as the main symptom, which is more obvious before menstruation and often occurs on the upper outer part of both breasts.

Breast adenosis: It is more common in people around 30 years old. Sometimes there are multiple nodules in the breast. When checking, it feels like touching soybeans at the bottom of a bowl. Sometimes the hyperplasia is obvious, especially before menstruation, and is often localized thickening that is difficult to distinguish from a tumor.

Cyst-like formation: often with distending pain, dull pain and burning sensation. When palpated, they are usually cystic masses with clear boundaries, and sometimes multiple cysts are clustered together, which makes it difficult to distinguish them from cancer during examination.

After your period, don't eat raw or cold food, eat more hot food. If you have symptoms of lower abdominal distension and pain, you can buy some warming patches, which will make your body more comfortable. During your period, you should maintain good sleep and a good mood, and don't be too anxious, as this will lead to some bad physical reactions.
