What should I do if I have pimples in my pubic hair?

It is very uncomfortable to have pimples on the vulvar hair, which brings a lot of inconvenience and trouble to people in life. Especially when the disease causes pain, itching, etc., it is really unbearable. Suffering from some gynecological diseases will make many people feel painful. When pimples appear in the pubic hair of female friends, many people are embarrassed to go to the hospital. Let us understand what causes it and how to treat it?

Small bumps on the vulva may be Bartholin's gland cysts. The exit of the Bartholin's gland is located on the inner side of the labia minora, making it easy for bacteria to invade and cause inflammation.

Generally, bacteria first invade the epithelium of the Bartholin's gland ducts, causing the mucosa to swell, or the uterine adhesions occur after the tissue at the opening of the duct is destroyed, causing the opening of the duct to be blocked, and the secretions cannot be discharged, thus forming a Bartholin's gland cyst. It is often unilateral and of varying sizes. It may also be an early manifestation of vulvar inflammation.

There are other possibilities for small bumps on the vulva: one is caused by human papillomavirus infection, called genital warts; the other is caused by general vaginal inflammation due to excessive leucorrhea and irritation, called pseudo-warts. Pseudocondyloma is a very common vulvar manifestation, which manifests as velvety or villous protrusions on the inner side of the labia minora. They may be pink or slightly transparent, roe-like, and of relatively uniform size, with no subjective symptoms.

Another possible reason for small bumps on the vulva is vulvitis: this is caused by a large amount of leucorrhea irritating the skin in the labia area. In daily life, the vulva is easily contaminated with urine, feces, and leucorrhea, so that the vulva skin is often in a humid environment, which is suitable for bacterial growth. At this time, if the vulvar skin is scratched, or if you don't pay attention to hygiene, or if your body's resistance is reduced, the hair follicles and surrounding tissues will be infected by staphylococci and other bacteria, which will cause local vulvitis.

Keep the vulva clean and dry, especially during menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum period, wash the vulva and change underwear every day. Do not wear synthetic underwear or tight pants, wear cotton underwear. When taking a local sitz bath, pay attention to the solution concentration, temperature, time, and precautions. People with vulvar itching should cut their nails and wash their hands frequently, and avoid scratching their skin to prevent ulceration and infection, which may lead to secondary bacterial infection. Do not use irritating soaps, medicines, or water that is too cold or too hot to clean the vulva, so as not to disrupt the acid-base balance of the vagina. Now everyone knows what the small bumps on the vulva are, right? I hope patients will not be afraid to see a doctor, but will bravely go to the hospital and accept the doctor's help. As long as they fully cooperate with the doctor, they will soon recover their health.

In most cases, it is better to wash our underwear when we are at home. However, when we are on a business trip or going out, we dare not hang our underwear out to dry. If we want to prevent the occurrence of some gynecological diseases, the most important thing is to expose the washed underwear to the sun. This will kill the invisible bacteria in the underwear.
