What are the symptoms of ovulation?

Women have a certain ovulation period every month. Generally speaking, women who are preparing for pregnancy can make full use of this ovulation period to achieve the purpose of conception. Of course, if you cannot accurately judge when your ovulation period is, you can further judge by understanding the symptoms of ovulation, so as not to miss the best time for conception. So what are the symptoms of ovulation?

A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days, waiting for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain its fertilization ability in the female's reproductive tract for 2-3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days, the ovulation period. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period.

The ovaries of women of normal childbearing age release only one egg per month. It takes about 14 days for the primordial follicle to develop into maturity, form a mature follicle and ovulate, during which time it undergoes a series of complex physiological and biochemical reactions. In this process, special cells in the follicle secrete androgens and estrogens. Estrogens regulate the cyclical changes of the endometrium, thus forming the menstrual cycle.

Common ovulation symptoms:

1. Anal swelling or lower abdominal pain on one side

When a mature egg is discharged from the surface of the ovary, it will break through a thin membrane follicle on the surface of the egg. A small amount of fluid in the follicle will flow into the pelvic cavity. Women will feel a slight feeling of falling in the anus and slight pain in one side of the lower abdomen.

2. Ovulation bleeding and temperature rise

Due to the fluctuation of estrogen secretion in the body before and after ovulation, a small amount of uterine bleeding may occur. At the same time, the body temperature rises slightly after ovulation. If you can measure the basal body temperature every morning, you can find the ovulation date based on the changes in body temperature.

3. Increased vaginal discharge

During ovulation, the amount of secretions increases significantly and becomes watery, transparent and clear. Women will feel their vulva is moist and slippery, and the secretions are very stringy. This increase in vaginal secretions usually lasts for 2 to 3 days, which is the time when women are most likely to get pregnant.

Through the above introduction, everyone is very clear about the symptoms of ovulation. The ovulation period needs to be fully grasped. The chance of conception is only the highest during the ovulation period. If you want to get pregnant after the ovulation period, the chance is very small. In addition, conditioning and maintenance measures during the ovulation period are also indispensable.
