What causes less yellow leucorrhea?

Leucorrhea represents the gynecological health of women. When a patient has a gynecological disease, leucorrhea will be the first to reflect abnormalities. Commonly used abnormalities include increased leucorrhea, less leucorrhea, yellow leucorrhea, bloody leucorrhea, etc. Leucorrhea with less amount and yellow color is often seen. Patients can detect abnormalities of the disease in time and go to the hospital for regular examinations to prevent the disease from becoming more serious. So what causes less amount and yellow leucorrhea? Let's take a look at it below.

If the amount of leucorrhea in women of childbearing age is reduced to a level that cannot meet people's physiological needs, causing the patients to often feel dryness and discomfort in the vulva, it is a pathological condition, often caused by ovarian dysfunction and decreased secretion of sex hormones. Postmenopausal women often feel dry vulva and no vaginal discharge. This is an abnormal phenomenon because the ovaries are atrophied and the secretion of sex hormones is significantly reduced. In the case of ovarian dysfunction, it is possible to cause a decrease in leucorrhea and less secretion. This is possible. For example, before menopause or after menopause, or premature ovarian failure, it may lead to a decrease in leucorrhea.

Too little vaginal discharge is also caused by ovarian dysfunction or decline, and low sex hormone levels. It often occurs in patients with frequent miscarriages, prolonged breastfeeding, and various chronic diseases, such as chronic hepatitis, chronic nephritis, diabetes, hypothyroidism, etc. After entering menopause, the gradual atrophy and loss of function of the ovaries can also lead to a lack of vaginal discharge.

Women who have little leucorrhea for a long time are prone to vaginitis. Normal leucorrhea should be like translucent egg white, which has the function of moistening the vagina, excreting waste and killing bacteria. If women have too little leucorrhea for a long time, the vagina's self-defense function will be weakened, making them more susceptible to vaginitis.

Yellowish and less vaginal discharge is caused by diseases, such as cervical erosion, candidal vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis and senile vaginitis.

⒈ Trichomonas vaginitis: The leucorrhea is yellow or yellow-green, thin and thick, with a large amount of foam, accompanied by vulvar itching and a foul odor.

⒉ Candidal vaginitis: The leucorrhea is yellow or white, typically in the shape of tofu dregs or curds, and is accompanied by vulvar itching. Most of the time, it is thick in texture, but sometimes it can be thin and slightly smelly.

⒊ The leucorrhea is milky white or light yellow, purulent, large in amount, has a foul odor, and is often accompanied by abdominal pain. It is generally caused by chronic cervicitis or endocervicitis.

⒋ The leucorrhea is yellow-white in color, most of the time it has a thick texture, but sometimes it can be thin. It is typically milky white, like bean dregs, or in the form of curd-like white flakes or lumps. Most of the time it is caused by fungal infection.

When the amount of leucorrhea is small and yellow in color, the patient definitely has a gynecological disease. The patient must go to the hospital for a leucorrhea examination to confirm the disease before taking regular treatment. Only after the cause of the small amount of leucorrhea and yellow in color is found can the disease be better prevented. However, gynecological diseases always recur, which will cause the patient's disease to relapse. Therefore, you should pay attention to hygiene in your life, keep the vagina clean, and prevent bacterial infection.
