What are the manifestations and treatments of miscarriage caused by partial uterine septate?

Some women have irregular menstruation and often have miscarriages after becoming pregnant. Why is this? The reason is most likely due to a partially septate uterus. For a woman, a child is very important, so the uterus must be taken seriously. Some people don’t know what partial septate uterus is. Let’s discuss it today. What exactly causes partial uterine septate and how can it be treated?

Uterine septum is a manifestation of incomplete cavitation during the congenital development of the uterus. It is characterized by a ridge of connective tissue at the fundus of the uterus protruding into the uterine cavity, deep uterine horns, and a relatively small uterine cavity volume. Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome often have septum. Through vaginal four-dimensional color ultrasound coronal imaging and dynamic digital hysterosalpingography, it can be seen that the fundus of the uterus is sunken in the horizontal position. The diagnosis is confirmed by hysteroscopy. A large mediastinum can lead to infertility, just like placing a "meat ring" in the uterine cavity, which is equivalent to placing an IUD; a medium mediastinum can lead to ectopic pregnancy, possibly because the mediastinum in the uterine cavity affects implantation and the fertilized egg wanders outside the uterus; a small mediastinum can lead to habitual miscarriage, possibly because the fertilized egg implants on the mediastinum, and because of its poor blood supply, the fetus stops growing.

The best treatment is to use cold instruments and plasma electroneedle to cut the mediastinum under hysteroscopy, rather than using an electric cutting ring to remove the mediastinum, which will cause scar contracture and will not help expand the uterine cavity. It is safer and more accurate to do it under laparoscopic monitoring, and a biological anti-adhesive membrane is inserted after the operation. Also, for a larger mediastinum, it is not required to be repaired in one operation and multiple surgeries may be required. However, it is important to avoid "overcorrection" as it will cause excessive scarring of the fundus of the uterus, which will in turn affect conception.

Now do you know what partial septate uterus is? Although women with normal uterus are very lucky, there are still many ways to solve the problem of partial septate uterus. You need to maintain a positive attitude and see a doctor as soon as possible. I believe that I will have a healthy body soon.
