What is the reason why women have abdominal pain one month after giving birth?

Having children is a woman's nature, but pregnancy for ten months is tiring in itself, and abdominal pain after childbirth is even more physically and mentally tormenting for women. In addition, they have to take care of their children's eating, drinking, defecating and urinating in daily life. Regardless of whether they have a cesarean section or a natural birth, women will suffer from abdominal diseases one month after childbirth. So what causes female friends to have abdominal pain one month after childbirth?

1. Postpartum uterine recovery

The recovery of the uterus after childbirth is mainly the gradual recovery of the uterine muscle fibers to the pre-pregnancy state.

2. The second is the recovery of the cervix. During delivery, the cervix will open until the baby is delivered. The enlarged cervix also needs to recover slowly after delivery.

The recovery process takes about 6 to 8 weeks, and everyone will definitely feel something during this process: sometimes you will feel abdominal pain, which we call uterine contraction. If you breastfeed after delivery, this feeling will be more obvious. Once the child sucks milk, it will stimulate uterine contraction. But after two or three days, you will gradually adapt and the pain will not be so obvious.

3. There is vaginal discharge. As we all know, it is bloody at first, then slowly turns into a brown color, and then slowly turns into white, and it will return to normal in about 4 weeks. If the patient has not recovered completely after 40 days, you need to check if there are any abnormalities.

4. Colostrum usually comes out two or three days after delivery, and this colostrum is very precious. After 2 weeks, mature milk is formed. There are some changes in the content of mature milk and colostrum. At the beginning, there is more protein, but then the protein decreases and the fat and lactose increase.

Women always have abdominal pain one month after giving birth. This is because the uterus is contracting and recovering, so abdominal pain is normal. There is no need to worry too much because the uterus needs to return to its original size, especially when the baby's breast milk stimulates the nipples. Eating more nutritious food can effectively improve the situation.
