How to treat ulcers on the inner labia majora

Many people work day and night to make a living. The high pressure of life not only makes the body sub-healthy, but also causes many diseases. The physical condition will affect the mood and efficiency at work. Some women who do not pay attention to personal hygiene or have complicated personal lives also suffer from gynecological diseases. It is difficult to tell others about private problems, and they feel embarrassed to go to the hospital for examination. Let's talk about one of the common gynecological problems of women: ulceration of the inner labia majora.

The labia majora are a pair of longitudinal elastic skin folds that are developmentally equivalent to the male scrotum. The front and back ends of the left and right labia majora are connected to each other. One of the components of the female sexual organs is the labia, which are two pairs of lip-like tissues surrounding the vaginal opening. The larger pair on the outside is the labia majora, and the smaller pair on the inside is the labia minora. In addition to being very sensitive to sexual stimulation, they (especially the labia minora) also have a protective effect on the adjacent urethral opening and vaginal opening. The outer side of the labia majora is the same as the nearby skin, with pubic hair growing on it and rich in sweat glands and sebaceous glands. Due to skin pigmentation, it is darker than the surrounding skin; the inner side is like a mucous membrane and is often moist. Some women's labia majora are thick and fat, while others are small and thin.

The labia majora covers the labia minora, vaginal opening and external urethral opening, preventing the invasion of harmful substances from the outside world and faithfully protecting the safety of the urinary and reproductive systems. It may be caused by infection of the labia before or after menstruation or immersion in sanitary napkins. It may also be symptoms of vaginitis or genital herpes. If accompanied by other symptoms, you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment according to the condition.

Women must pay attention to their personal hygiene, clean themselves more often and pay attention to the use of sanitary napkins, changing them every two to three hours to avoid the growth of bacteria. If you have inflammation, you must pay attention to eating a light diet, not smoking or drinking, and be sure to wear cotton and breathable underwear. It is best to dry it in the sun after washing to disinfect it. You should also pay attention to regular exercise.
