Causes of vulvar itching and leucorrhea

Vulvar itching is a condition that often occurs in female friends. It can occur in two ways: paroxysmal attacks and persistent attacks. The areas of vulvar itching are generally the clitoris, labia minora, and may also affect the labia majora, perineum and even perianal areas. Long-term scratching may cause scratches or blood scabs, making the condition more serious. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand the causes of vulvar itching and leucorrhea bleeding. Here are some causes of vulvar itching:

1. Local diseases of the vulva Diseases may occur locally on the vulva, such as non-gonococcal urethritis, gonorrhea, fungal or trichomoniasis vaginitis, pubic lice, ringworm, scabies, atrophic keratotic lichen, leukoplakia, contact dermatitis, enterobiasis, cervicitis, etc. Anal itching in female children is usually caused by pinworms and usually worsens at night.

2. External stimuli such as birth control pills, friction from underwear, tight underwear, and menstrual stimulation can also cause itching. Vulvar itching is often accompanied by anal itching, which is related to the irritation caused by external hemorrhoids, long-term incontinence, anal fistula, anal fissure, anal excrement, and fecal residues.

3. Mental factors: When you are depressed, nervous, anxious, or irritable, you often feel vulvar itching, and the more you scratch it, the more itchy it becomes. 4. Systemic diseases mainly include diabetes, anemia, skin diseases, liver and gallbladder diseases, kidney diseases, leukemia, polycythemia, lymphoma, etc. Not only is there itching all over the body, but it is often accompanied by itching of the vulva.

5. Idiopathic vulvar pruritus has no clear cause and is related to emotional disturbance or some minor stimulation.

6. Dietary factors: Lack of iron, vitamin A, vitamin E, riboflavin, fat, etc. in food further makes the vulvar skin dry, itchy and scaly.

Vulvar itching is not a trivial matter. If you find such symptoms, you should go to a regular hospital for a thorough examination in time. The earlier the examination, the better the treatment. At the same time, don't have any psychological burden. As long as it is treated early, it will be fine. However, you still need to pay attention to a light diet and health care during key periods, and keep the vulva clean.
