Method of ultrasound during pregnancy

The fifth month of pregnancy is a critical period of pregnancy. Many of our pregnant mothers are very concerned about the health of their children, so they will go to the hospital for B-ultrasound. B-ultrasound can check all aspects of our children's physical conditions and the physical health of our mothers. Then there are some matters that need to be paid attention to in B-ultrasound. Many people do not know much about some knowledge about B-ultrasound in the fifth month of pregnancy. Maybe many pregnant mothers want to know some relevant information about B-ultrasound in the fifth month of pregnancy? Let us take a look at it together below.

Note:

1. Ultrasound and CT are imaging examinations that can only reflect changes in the shape, size and density of organs. Liver ultrasound cannot detect hepatitis B. Although B-ultrasound examination cannot detect hepatitis B, it plays an important role in the follow-up of hepatitis B, especially chronic hepatitis B. B-ultrasound examination can not only detect liver cancer at an early stage, but also understand the changes in liver morphology and density in the late stage of hepatitis B, indicating the possibility of cirrhosis and liver cancer. When there is cancer or other masses in the liver, ultrasound and CT can measure the different shapes of the masses and other liver tissues and the size of the liver. For example, in cirrhosis, the liver often shrinks and small nodules are formed. Ultrasound and CT scans can detect that the liver has shrunk in shape.

2. First, B-ultrasound examination is highly sensitive to fatty liver. Ultrasound can detect fatty liver with a liver fat content of more than 30%; for fatty liver with a liver fat content of more than 50%, the sensitivity of ultrasound diagnosis can reach 90%; in non-fibrotic livers, the sensitivity of ultrasound diagnosis of fatty liver is 100%.

3. Secondly, B-ultrasound examination is cheap. Compared with expensive examinations such as CT and MRI, the latter is more accurate in diagnosis, but ultrasound is less expensive, easier to operate, and has no radioactivity. Therefore, B-ultrasound is now the preferred diagnostic method for fatty liver and is widely used in epidemiological surveys of the incidence of fatty liver in the population.

4. B-ultrasound can be used to check the fat content in the liver, and then it can be well judged whether fatty liver has been suffered. If the amount of fat in the liver increases under B-ultrasound examination, when its fat content exceeds 5% of the liver weight (wet weight), or exceeds 30% of the liver parenchyma in histology, it is called fatty liver. This is the exact medical definition of fatty liver. In severe cases, the fat content can reach 40%-50% of the liver weight.

The above content introduces us to the relevant information of B-ultrasound during the fifth month of pregnancy. By understanding these contents, we can have a more detailed understanding of some things about women. When our wife is pregnant, we can accurately calculate the best time, so as to give our wife the best care and give them the best warmth.
