Requirements for fallopian tube ultrasound

Requirements for fallopian tube ultrasound

Getting pregnant is the dream of many women, but some women are very healthy and have a harmonious life with their spouses, but why can't they have their own babies? In fact, to a large extent, it has a lot to do with whether the woman's fallopian tubes are blocked. Fallopian tube blockage is a common disease among women and one of the major culprits of female infertility. Therefore, female friends must pay attention to this situation, do a good job of examination in time, and understand their own physical condition. If you want to do a good job of fallopian tube examination, you must perform fallopian tube ultrasound angiography, which is a safe and effective method. However, when doing such an examination, you must pay attention to the following requirements:

First, you should do some preparation before the salpingography surgery. Generally speaking, the best time to perform salpingography is within three to seven days after the menstruation is over. The doctor should explain the precautions and possible complications of salpingography to the patient in as much detail as possible to relieve the woman's nervousness, and ask the patient to sign a consent form for the operation. Those with constipation should take laxatives the night before the operation, or have a cleansing enema two hours before the operation to clear the intestinal contents and make the film clear. Generally, urination is required before salpingography to avoid affecting the position of the uterus. Before salpingography, an iodine allergy test must be done before the operation.

Second, during the process of hysterosalpingography, the vagina is first dilated with a speculum, the cervix is disinfected, the anterior lip of the cervix is fixed, the cervical catheter is slowly filled with iodized oil, the air in the tube cavity is emptied at the same time, and then the cervical canal is inserted along the direction of the uterine cavity. During the entire injection process, leakage of contrast fluid must be prevented to avoid harm to the health of the woman undergoing hysterosalpingography.

Third, although hysterosalpingography can effectively determine whether a woman has symptoms of fallopian tube obstruction, not all women are suitable for hysterosalpingography. Generally speaking, women with acute or subacute inflammation of the reproductive organs, active tuberculosis, systemic infection, menstruation, normal delivery, miscarriage or vacuum extraction, within six weeks after curettage, possible pregnancy, uterine malignancy, iodine allergy, etc. should not undergo hysterosalpingography.

Fourth, after the hysterosalpingography is completed, female friends still need to undergo effective examinations, especially women will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding within a week after the examination. Female friends must go to the hospital for examination. In addition, it is best to do a good job of contraception for three months after the hysterosalpingography examination.

Now as women's awareness increases, more and more people use fallopian tube ultrasound to understand whether there are problems with their fallopian tubes. However, due to different personal constitutions and acceptance, not everyone is suitable for this method. We all know that blockage of the fallopian tubes can cause great harm to women, so when you have not been pregnant for a long time, you must do a good job of checking yourself.
