What should I do if the white blood cell count is positive in leucorrhea examination?

Regular gynecological examinations are necessary, and examination of leucorrhea can usually reveal some gynecological diseases that have not yet been discovered by yourself. Go to the hospital for a checkup of your leucorrhea. So, what should you do if the leucorrhea examination shows an increase in the number of white blood cells (an increase in the number of white blood cells means gynecological inflammation)? Once a problem is found during the examination, you must not be afraid to see a doctor or refuse to get treatment because of your face. You must know that the longer you delay, the less good it will do to your body.

Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells. The absence of odor is a normal phenomenon; if there is an increase in mucus, it is continuous, or it has a fishy smell, it is a pathological manifestation. Although your result indicates abnormal leucorrhea, it does not necessarily mean there is a serious infection. Please do not worry. Generally, whether there is an infection or not is judged by changes in serum. The treatment of candidal vaginitis is not difficult. The key is to cure it completely and avoid recurrence. ① You can use 2%~4% sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) solution to rinse the vulva and vagina once a day, 10 times as a course of treatment, in order to create an alkaline environment that is not conducive to the survival of Candida alba. ② After flushing, you can choose 100,000 to 200,000 units of nystatin (powder, suppository or ointment) and insert it into the vagina once a night, for a course of 10 to 14 days; apply 3% clotrimazole ointment to the vulva once a day, which is also very effective. ③ Change underwear frequently. Used underwear, basins and towels should be boiled in boiling water for 30 minutes or soaked in saturated salt water for 1 to 4 hours for disinfection, because Candida has poor resistance to heat and will die in 1 hour if heated to 60℃. If the disease is not cured after a long period of treatment, you should go to the hospital to check your blood sugar and urine sugar to rule out diabetes. You should also check for Trichomonas infection, because this disease is sometimes complicated by Trichomonas vaginitis.

Because people do not pay enough attention to abnormal leucorrhea, many gynecological diseases occur. Therefore, when you find that the white blood cell count in the leucorrhea examination is plus, you must pay great attention to it. Don't underestimate this condition. If it is not treated in time, it may cause irreparable damage to the vagina and uterus.
