What causes a pregnant woman to have nose bleeding?

Pregnant women should pay attention to their physical health during pregnancy. Once there is a problem with the body, they need to pay attention to timely treatment. This can ensure the health and safety of the pregnant woman's body and avoid dangerous situations. So what is the matter with pregnant women's nose bleeding? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

Causes of Nosebleeds:

1. Local causes

1. Trauma or barotrauma;

2. Nasal septum deviation and nasal septum perforation often cause epistaxis;

3. Non-specific inflammation: Dry rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis, acute rhinitis, acute maxillary sinusitis, etc. are often the causes of nosebleeds.

4. Specific infection: nasal tuberculosis, nasal diphtheria, nasal syphilis, etc. are prone to nose bleeding due to mucosal ulceration;

5. Tumors and others: Foreign bodies in the nasal cavity and leeches in the nasal cavity can cause repeated heavy bleeding. In plateau areas, dry rhinitis is an important cause of regional nosebleeds due to low relative humidity.

(II) Systemic causes

1. Acute infectious diseases;

2. Blood diseases: abnormalities in platelet quantity or quality or abnormalities in coagulation mechanism;

3. Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, chronic liver and kidney diseases, and rheumatic fever may also be associated with nosebleeds;

4. Cardiovascular diseases: increased venous pressure: such as mitral stenosis, huge masses in the chest, mediastinum and neck, emphysema, pulmonary edema and bronchopneumonia; or high arterial pressure: such as hypertension, arteriosclerosis, nephritis with hypertension, eclampsia, etc.

5. Vitamin deficiency: Deficiency of vitamin CKP and trace element calcium can easily cause nose bleeding;

6. Chemical and drug poisoning: poisoning by phosphorus, mercury, arsenic, benzene, etc. can destroy the function of the hematopoietic system and cause epistaxis. Long-term use of salicylic acid drugs can reduce prothrombin and make bleeding easy;

7. Endocrine disorders: Compensatory menstrual precursor nosebleeds often occur during puberty, mostly due to decreased estrogen levels in the blood and dilation of nasal mucosal blood vessels.

The above is my opinion on this issue. If a pregnant woman has the above problems, she needs to pay attention to take appropriate treatment in time to ensure her health and avoid physical problems caused by the above problems, which may affect the safety of the fetus. Finally, I wish the pregnant woman a speedy recovery.
